For you first go please do not bring a complicated item but something with not too many pieces, e.g. a T-shirt with sleeves or a pair of simple trousers.
Skill level :
 Basic sewing machine skills required
What to bring:
Garment you wish to copy (simple garment e.g. t-shirt or trousers with few pieces)
1 or 2 metres of dressmaking paper (this can be purchased on the day from the shop)
Pencil
Pen
Needle Point Tracing Wheel
Janome sewing machines will be provided on the day along with a hot drink. You will also receive a 10% discount card to use in-store.

I have been involved with sewing and dressmaking for all of my working life and nothing gives me greater pleasure than passing on my knowledge to people who want to learn to sew. I enjoy sewing, dressmaking, all types of craft and especially machine embroidery.
I have been working at the abakhan store in Shrewsbury since it opened its doors in 2018.
