Fallah, Mia Weiner, Molly Haynes, Shaniqwa Jarvis, and Todd Tourso in conversation with exhibition curators Tofer Chin and Mari Orkenyi Saturday, December 7 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM Analia Saban, Aryana Minai, Mike Nesbit, Roksana Pirouzmand, and Thomas Linder in conversation with curators Tofer Chin and Mari Orkenyi When the Veil Thins, is a group exhibition curated by artist Tofer Chin and mindfulness educator and writer Mari Orkenyi. This exhibition features a selection of works in painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, and film, exploring the relationship between art-making and the psyche, including memories, traumas, and experiences. The exhibition features work by Amir H. Fallah, Analia Saban, Aryana Minai, Jamal Gunn Becker, Mia Weiner, Mike Nesbit, Molly Haynes, Shaniqwa Jarvis, Thomas Linder, and Todd Tourso. Focusing on materiality, process, absence, presence, and the relationship with the unconscious, When The Veil Thins seeks to illuminate the multifaceted ways in which artists grapple with personal and collective experiences, ultimately finding avenues of expression and healing through art-making. The exhibition will be on view until February 9, 2025. Compoundis a cultural and creative complex fostering the intersection of contemporary art, wellness, and community impact. The Aquarium of the Pacific is one of the largest aquariums is located in Long Beach, California, USA. and a popular attraction in Southern California. The aquarium features a diverse range of marine life from the Pacific Ocean, including daily shows and feedings, including shark and sea lion feedings. The aquarium is great for families, especially with young children. It is a good place to spend time letting kids experience different aquatic animals and learn about the ocean. Recomended.

We were taking a carnival cruise port in LA. The Queen Mary was right next door. They JUST opened two months prior since COVID and were accepting guests. We had drinks at the bar, breakfast at the chowder hall and coffee on deck. the rooms were a bit dark without windows but the real deal and unique experience. Would def book there again!

Similar to Venice canals but looks nicer as you walk through the winter when some of the houses has Christmas lights up so you can see all the nice decorations as you scroll through the sidewalks on each side of the river to get that xmas spirit.
