La Brea is very long, starting at Hawthorne Blvd east of LAX and running north to the Hollywood Hills - very long. As such, it passes through high-end, good-end, low-end, and bad neighborhoods. But for most Angelenos &amp; tourists, La Brea is the wonderful stretch that includes the Tar Pits, LACMA, Peterson Automotive Museum, great restaurants, and a variety of shops. I drive by there often and enjoy the diversity of this stretch of La Brea....
