Discover the artistry of creating your very own coastal imprint tiles with local artist Katie Taylor at Greyhope Bay Centre in Aberdeen. Using locally sourced clay, Katie will guide you in transforming the clay into beautifully inspired tiles. Each tile can be used as a wall hanging or a unique door sign. 

During the workshop, you will have the opportunity to use a variety of items to press and indent into your tile, adding your personal touch. Feel free to bring along any additional materials you'd like to incorporate into your design. After decorating your tile with various underglazes, Katie will take them to be bisque and glaze fired, ensuring a professional finish.

Katie Taylor is a talented local artist from Aberdeenshire, who studied Contemporary Art Practice at Gray's School of Art in Aberdeen. Her work is deeply influenced by nature and she constantly seeks sustainable and ecologically beneficial methods of creation.

Tickets for this engaging workshop are priced at £15 per participating adult. Crew members and adults over 65 years old enjoy a special discount of 30%. Please note that ticket cancellations made within 48 hours of the event start time are not eligible for a refund.
