Clowning has a long tradition with many schools of thought. This workshop is NOT about circus clown - no makeup, tricks, gags or routines. Instead, we focus on being rather than doing. Embracing innocence & wonder, you will embark on a personal journey to discover your unique sense of humour & truthfulness by listening & being receptive. This approach prioritizes the pleasure of the here & now, offering a mindful way to spend the day.

John Lawlor holds a degree in Theatre from Dartington College of Arts & has taught Drama for Westminster Adult Education Service.  He ran the South London drama group, Absent Friends, & has been engaged in clowning since 2012 with 'Nose to Nose'.  In 2023, he completed their Clown Facilitator Training course & is a member of the London-based clowning group, 'Nobody Nose'.  John is passionate about clowning & skilled at creating a safe space for creative risk-taking.

This is a pilgrimage, as a Liverpool fan. This journey is in my heart, no matter what in the hearts of others, it is full score 💯. Especially when there are players passages, and when you see this is the Anfield brand, your heart is tidal. Standing on the pitch, closing my eyes, I can think of the crowd here on match day.

I am not a Beatles fan, but I am still touched by their legends after this tour. And found that some familiar songs were written by them. Appreciating the talents of lenon, I prefer the gentleness and restraint of McCartney. A good place to visit.

The exterior of this church is unremarkable. After entering it, it will really be amazing. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big. It is recommended to come on Sunday. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.
