Join the Planet Ant Training Center for our End of Year Semester Sketch Comedy Classes, starting the week of November 6th! Whether you're new to the training center or a returning student, we have classes for all levels. Begin your sketch comedy journey with Sketch 1, where you'll learn new concepts and techniques over a six-week period. This course is designed to build your basic skills and concepts, allowing you to write the kind of comedy you enjoy. Each level of our Sketch Program builds on the previous one, and culminates in a full stage production written and directed by you! No experience is required, so don't hesitate to sign up. 

Here are the details for our upcoming classes:

- Level 1 with Parker Hammon: Tuesday, November 7th, 7:00 - 10:00 pm
- Level 2 with Shawn Handlon: Monday, November 6th, 7:00 - 10:00 pm

In Level 1, you'll focus on establishing the basics of sketch writing, vocabulary, and idea generation. Level 2 will take you through all established styles of sketch, allowing you to identify and write all types of comedy. Level 3 dives into satire, exploring both political and social satire. By the end, you'll have a solid understanding of satire and how to generate sketch ideas. Level 4 focuses on group writing, teaching you the challenges and benefits of collaborating with others. In Level 5, you'll learn about pre-production, including running auditions, casting, and making final edits. Finally, Level 6 is all about the production process, from rehearsing to directing your own show.

To ensure a smooth registration process, we have implemented a new pricing structure. Normal class pricing is $210, valid more than one week before class begins. Last week pricing is $240, valid for the week leading up to class. Late pricing is $250, valid for the week that classes start and beyond. We also value your feedback and encourage you to fill out a form at the end of each semester to help us improve.
