The Choctaw Paddle Battle 2024, held at the Choctaw Wellness Center in Durant, is a prestigious pickleball tournament catering to both Mixed Doubles and Masters Mixed Doubles (65+). The tournament, open to the public, offers a unique opportunity to showcase your skills on the court. With a maximum capacity of 10 teams per division, participants have the chance to compete on one of three available courts. Registration is simple - only one team member needs to complete the sign-up process, providing their partner's name and both players' T-shirt sizes. The event format includes Round Robin pool play, with top teams advancing to medal play. Games are played to 11 points, with the requirement to win by 2. The championship round will be a best 2 out of 3 match. Sign-ups must be completed by Sunday, April 28th, by 11:59pm. Medals await the top three teams, while the first and second-place winners will receive Visa Gift Cards valued at $50 and $25 per player, respectively. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Choctaw Nation Foster Care & Adoption program, with donations warmly welcomed.
