The Chicago Poetry Center presents the Blue Hour generative writing workshop. The Blue Hour generative writing workshop is designed for writers and poetry fans of all levels. We discuss a poem together, then the facilitator guides the group through individual writing on an exploratory prompt that draws on themes from the poem. The facilitator and host for February 19th will be Marty McConnell. The workshop begins promptly at 6 p.m. (arrival is encouraged anytime after 5:45 p.m.) and ends at 7 p.m. Participants are invited to attend the Blue Hour open mic and reading at 7:30, following the generative workshop. You can sign up for one or both portions of the event (workshop and/or reading), but each registration must be completed separately. The reading is free, and workshop donations are accepted at any level with a suggested minimum of $10. If price is a barrier, please email marty@poetrycenter.org for a no-questions-asked fee waiver. ABOUT THE SPACE - Accessibility, Health, & Safety: - All restrooms at Haymarket House are gender-neutral, including single-user and stalled restrooms. - The performance component of the event includes ASL interpretation. Haymarket House is ADA-compliant and fully wheelchair-accessible; email curator@poetrycenter.org to ensure ramp access and any other accessibility needs. If you desire ASL interpretation for the workshop, please email curator@poetrycenter.org at least one week in advance of the event. - Masks are encouraged for all indoor events, and the space is equipped with a professional air filtration system. A NOTE ON PARKING: Limited free and paid street parking is available near Haymarket House. The parking lot at Disney Magnet School is relatively close and is a paid lot; there are also locations nearby available through SpotHero.

It&#39;s great. There are many masterpieces by masters. It&#39;s worth visiting, especially Monet&#39;s works. It takes about 4 hours to visit. From ancient Greece, ancient Rome to the European period, there are many people. It is recommended to come early in the morning.

Absolutely incredible experience!From the moment you enter, you&#39;re immersed in the history and interactive exhibits. The elevator ride adds to the anticipation. Once at the top, the panoramic views are breathtaking. We splurged on the drinks package, and they certainly didn&#39;t disappoint.

Before riding the elevator to the top, there&rsquo;s an exhibition introducing Chicago. It covers architecture, famous people from the city, food, and more. At the tower&rsquo;s summit, you can take in a panoramic view of the entire city. It&rsquo;s definitely a worthwhile experience.
