The Cheerful Home Pickleball Tournament, presented by TI-Trust, is set to take place on June 8th, 2024, at Moorman Park in Quincy, IL. Participants are required to check in under the tent at the court entry between 8:00-8:30am. The tournament will feature both Recreational and Competitive divisions, with a round-robin format followed by a single-elimination tournament to determine the champions. Games will be played to 11 points, with teams switching sides when one reaches 6 points. Seeding will be based on total wins in the round-robin stage, with tie-breakers decided by head-to-head results, total points scored, and total points against. Participants are advised to adhere to the posted schedule and report to the scorer's table after each match. Teams will act as their own referees, with assistance available for rule clarifications. Tickets are priced at $80 per team, inclusive of a shirt, food, and entry fee. In case of inclement weather, an alternate date or venue will be arranged. All matches will follow USAPA rules, with each team allowed one timeout per game. Warm-up sessions are limited to two minutes, and participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair for relaxation. The tournament ball will be the neon green/yellow Pickleballs, and a trophy will be awarded to the winner of each division.
