The San Antonio Life Insurance Building is a landmark historic building in downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. The 31-story building is 123 meters tall. The building opened in 1929 and was originally known as the Smith-Young Tower, with the Smith brothers purchasing the building in 1943. In 1953, a television transmission tower was added to the structure. A 2010 renovation removed the outdated television mast and replaced it with the tower&#39;s original design, a copper canopy with a 100-foot-tall flagpole.

The layout makes it easy to explore without feeling overwhelmed, and there are plenty of snack stands and shaded areas to take a break. The highlight of our visit was the kangaroo experience, where we got to walk among them up close. Overall, it&rsquo;s a fun, well-maintained zoo that&rsquo;s worth a visit.
