The Candlelit Practice is an annual event in Glasgow that celebrates the approaching winter solstice. It offers a unique opportunity to experience a led yoga practice by candlelight. This one-hour practice, taking place on December 3, 2023, is open to students of all levels.

Unlike a traditional yoga class, the Candlelit Practice is not focused on adjustments from a teacher. Instead, it provides a serene environment for participants to immerse themselves in the practice. The event will take place at the 1st Floor Yoga studio, located at Western Baths, 2 Cranworth Street, Glasgow, G12 8BZ.

Seating is limited to 20 places, making it a special and intimate gathering. As a courtesy, the event is initially exclusive to iYoga Glasgow members until November 22nd. However, if there are any remaining spots, the event will be open to the public. 

We would like to express our gratitude to the Western Baths for making their yoga studio available for this event. Mats and equipment will be provided on-site, ensuring a hassle-free experience for all participants.

We came here on a spontaneous visit one Sunday afternoon in January and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our wee boy loved seeing the &ldquo;old fashioned house&rdquo; and was so well looked after by all the staff, from the cash register to the flat and back out again.

We went round twice (with a shift change between visits!) and the insight into one story of no doubt thousands like it in Glasgow was fantastic. Plus our boy thoroughly enjoyed colouring in his wallie dug. A hidden gem that is well worth the wander through Garnethill.

This is simply a dream castle. When I arrived, it was the April holiday, and there were almost no people on the road. Only the ancient buildings stood in the cold air, solemn and heavy, which made people feel awe.

George Square

George Square is located in Glasgow city center and is very conveniently accessible by train or subway. On nice days, you can sunbathe and watch pigeons in the square. It is close to the famous shopping street, where you can buy souvenirs, clothes, shoes and socks. There are also many restaurants and eateries to choose from. 
George Square is a must-see attraction. In addition to admiring the architecture of the square;during different festivals, such as Christmas, the square is built into a Christmas Market, becoming a dynamic and happy atmosphere.
