Bushido Amateur MMA is an essential starting point for any aspiring MMA fighter. Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 20th, as Bushido makes its eagerly anticipated return. Renowned as the premier platform for the next generation of MMA fighters, Bushido has served as a launch pad for many of today's local scene stars. This time around, we are introducing some exciting changes to enhance the experience. Instead of a tournament format, each fighter will compete in single matches, adhering to the same rules as before. However, each match will consist of three, three-minute rounds. The victorious fighter in each match will be honored with a prestigious Bushido medal. To ensure a fair and safe competition, we will provide gloves, knee pads, and shin guards. All participants must come equipped with rash guards, shorts, a groin guard, and a mouth guard. If fighters wish to participate in multiple matches, they are encouraged to inform us in advance. This event is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable fight experience while following a modified ruleset that prioritizes safety. Weigh-ins will take place promptly at 11 am, followed by a rules meeting at 11:45 am, and the first match will commence at 12 pm.
