BULLIED is a new play dealing with the age-old trauma and the deeply upsetting experience that most people want to avoid. It can be a devasting trauma for young people, made all the more hurtful by its secret and insidious nature. BULLIED, the play, tackles the subject head-on. BULLIED is an incisive drama about a sixteen-year old who is being tormented by unseen predators who couldn’t care less. BULLIED is a totally professional production. With a cast headed by IFTA nominated actor Vinnie McCabe and co-starring Shauna Brennan, this sensitive drama unveils the stress, the fear, the slyness in the way the trauma is inflicted. But this new play has HOPE. Through sharing the trauma with Granddad, our sixteen-year old begins to see that there is a solution. A plan to confront and silence the bullies is devised.
