The Brighton Marathon is a road race run over the distance of 42.195 km or 26 miles and 385 yards. It takes place each April in Brighton on the south coast of England. The inaugural Brighton Marathon was organised by former international athlete Tim Hutchings and former Brighton club athlete, Tom Naylor.The first running of the race took place on 18th April 2010. The race opened to 12,000 entries, with 7,589 participating on race day.In Year 2 (April 2011), over 8,000 runners took part with spectator numbers estimated at around 120,000. The race has acquired the status of “Britain’s No. 2 marathon” for its profile in the national running arena, for its standard of race organisation and for the publicity generated by the event.

We were there on a weekend and mainly walked outside, looking at the gardens and the architecture. We didn&rsquo;t go inside as their hours of operation didn&rsquo;t coincide with the time we were there and had available. Great place to stroll, people watch, or have a picnic, weather permitting.

I went here back last year in September with some friends for an extended weekend, Brighton certainly has a lot of nice nightlife and sights to see.

Had my first date here with my partner and we hadthe best time. An amazing aquarium with abeautiful atmosphere, lights and gorgeouscreatures! I love animals and fish and seeing themhere was wonderful. Staff were lovely and veryknowledgeable. The place was clean, easy tonavigate and extremely ambient and beautiful. We went on a Thursday afternoon so was pretty quiet!

more like a downtown touristy place with many cafes and cosmetic shops. very easy to get lost while looking for some place on maps. almost did when i was lookong for Mac cosmetics...you will find Jo Malone, Bobby Brown and Mac cosmetics all in one small area. and coffee shops too. on my second attempt i was looking for pizza express and i almost missed it. hehehh the lanes is one place that gets you wondering what exactly is going on with your maps application. definately recomend you to not miss it while in brighton. on your way to lanes you will meet Tmax the famous brand discount shop and boy, you will thank me then.
