Bright Night for the Arts is an annual celebration of the arts in Evanston. This year, the event will take place at the Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre on Howard Street. The Mayor's Awards for the Arts will be presented by Mayor Biss to honor the vibrant contributions of artists and arts organizations to the Evanston community. This is a great opportunity to meet and connect with fellow members of the arts community. Guests will also be treated to live performance excerpts from Fleetwood Jourdain Theater's recent production of The Light, as well as songs by Michaela Marchi. Sweet treats, soft drinks, and a cash bar will be available for your enjoyment. Please note that space is limited, so RSVP is required. Each RSVP is limited to two persons. If you RSVP yes and are unable to attend, please update your RSVP to allow someone from the waitlist to attend. Parking is limited to a small lot adjacent to Theo and there is also paid street parking available. We highly encourage taking public transportation or carpooling to the event.
