Join Book Night, an evening of book discussion and friendship at Chapter One Books in Manchester. This special collaboration between Book Night and the Manchester Book Society promises to be an unforgettable event. The Manchester Book Society, founded by passionate female readers, consistently sells out their events in record time. That's why we're excited to bring this bonus event to both of our communities. 

At Book Night, we'll gather in the cosy back corner of Chapter One Books to discuss a woman-authored novel. The book will be chosen by the community through a voting process on the Third Place Instagram account. While you engage in the lively discussion, enjoy a hot drink of your choice. Don't worry if you're attending alone – our friendly team will ensure there are no awkward silences and you'll leave with plenty of new friends.

Upon purchasing a ticket, you'll be invited to a WhatsApp group where you can get to know the Third Place team and fellow attendees. When you arrive, a team member will warmly welcome you. We have reserved a comfortable space at Chapter One Books where we will settle in, order drinks (included in the ticket price), and delve into the book discussion led by the Manchester Book Society team. The event will conclude around 8:30pm.

Tickets are non-refundable and include a regular hot or soft drink. Additional food and beverages can be purchased at your own cost from Chapter One Books. For travel, the venue is conveniently located near Piccadilly Gardens tram stop and various bus routes. If you prefer to drive, there is a car park in the Northern Quarter nearby.

Please note that all Third Place events are open to individuals aged 18 and above, and only those who identify as women may attend. Photography will be taken during the event using a film camera and the team's phones.

Went to Happy seasons restaurant and TSUJIRI in Manchester Chinatown with my mates after exams. Authentic Chinese cuisine with reasonable prices. The matcha sundae was also delicious. There are also many nice Asian restaurants around the area.
