Freestyle Now, in collaboration with the City of Fremantle, will be hosting a FREE BMX coaching workshop session at the Esplanade Youth Plaza (Freo skatepark) on April 4, 2024. The workshop will consist of two sessions, with Session 1 starting at 9am and Session 2 at 10am. Open to participants aged 12 and above, the session will feature Freestyle Now squad members providing technical advice, trick tips, skill development, and skatepark etiquette guidance. Each 50-minute coaching session will be followed by a 10-minute parent information session to educate parents on skatepark etiquette, bike understanding, and safety precautions. Participants must bring their own equipment, wear helmets, and closed-in shoes. It is essential for parents to supervise children under 12 on-site. The workshop aims to enhance participants' skills and confidence level by starting from their existing abilities. Freestyle Now's experienced instructors prioritize safety, emphasizing the importance of helmets to prevent injuries. The workshop promises a fun, educational, and motivating experience for all participants, fostering progress and enjoyment in the sport.
