Black Dyke Band at Blackburn Cathedral Join us for what will be a truly unforgettable evening as we proudly welcome the world-famous Black Dyke Band to perform at Blackburn Cathedral. Formed in West Yorkshire in 1855, they are one of the most famous brass bands in the world. With a rich history and unparalleled musical legacy, they are the most recorded band ever with more than 350 recordings. Delivering a sound described as  powerful, majestic and full of emotion , they perform a diverse repertoire, from classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions and their concerts have a reputation for being highly entertaining, featuring world class soloists and special guests. In demand around the world, we’re delighted to welcome them to Blackburn Cathedral for what will be a very special concert. Brass banding just doesn’t get any better than this! Tickets are unallocated seating in each band.
