Kick off your weekend with a guided birding and nature hike at Hill Country Conservancy's Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve. Whether you are an avid birdwatcher or picking up binoculars for the first time, join us for an early morning hike and get a glimpse at some of the birds that spend the spring in the Hill Country. Texas Master Naturalist and experienced birder Mikael Behrens will lead this walk, exploring the plants and animals that call the Preserve home.
ABOUT THE HIKE
The hike lasts 2 hours and is an easy, slow pace with frequent stops.
All hikes are weather permitting
There are no restroom facilities on the preserve
Please leave all pets in the comfort of your home
Feel free to bring your preferred binoculars and/or camera! We'll also have some binoculars available to borrow.
ABOUT NALLE BUNNY RUN WILDLIFE PRESERVE
The 50-acre Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve is not only an environmental treasure but also an important habitat restoration project situated on the banks of the Colorado River. The preserve was donated to Hill Country Conservancy in December 2000 by the Nalle Family, who wished for years to preserve their beloved “Bunny Run” for the public to enjoy. The conservation management of this preserved Lake Austin waterfront and its proximity to Austin make the Nalle Bunny Run Wildlife Preserve a visual and environmental masterpiece.

As a regular tourist thought the process of entering the Parliament House was very cumbersome, but I didn&#39;t expect to check the bag I took with me to visit. Built in 1885, the building covers 51 acres and was designed by architects modeled on the Capitol in Washington, DC, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1970 and was named a National Historic Landmark in 1986. Amazing the passing of the world does not affect its appearance and internal structure, as always brand new, visitors can visit the government office, have time to visit around the building outside, from all angles to enjoy the century-old building.
