Join us for a bilingual family workshop where you create a painting responding to various music genres through mark making, layering and colour! This workshop will be led by artist Owain Sparnon and delivered in English and welsh. The session will provide a safe, creative space for families who are learning welsh or who would enjoy the opportunity to practice. In partnership with the children’s 2024 BEEP painting prize All materials will be provided. Due to our venue’s capacity, spaces are limited. If you book onto one of our workshops we would ask you to honour your commitment to attend. We aim for our workshops to be as accessible as possible, but would ask that you make a donation on the day if you can. The workshops will take place in the gallery and education space located on the first floor of the gallery. Due to building limitations access to the first floor education space is via steep stairs. Gloucester Cathedral

Gloucester Cathedral is an ancient and spectacular mega-church in southern England, which became a place of pilgrimage 1300 years ago, and houses King Edward II of England. The church&rsquo;s Gothic architecture is beautiful, very spacious inside, with multiple different uses of size space, three floors to visit. The corridor outside the church is very grand, and it was used as a filming location for Harry Potter in 2002 and 2008 and is well worth visiting.
