The Hive is hosting a series of climbing events throughout the city, starting on January 25th. This event, called Belays and Beers, offers climbers of all skill levels a chance to come together, challenge themselves, and enjoy the camaraderie of the climbing community. The evening will kick off at 6:00pm with a thrilling climbing session at The Hive, located at 960 Lorimier Blvd #7. Participants will have the opportunity to climb, ascend, and cheer each other on until around 7:30pm. Afterward, the fun continues at the nearby Trans Canada Brewing Company, located at 1290 Kenaston Blvd #1. This versatile venue welcomes climbers of all ages and provides a relaxed atmosphere for mingling with fellow climbers, discussing gear, planning adventures, and forming new friendships. It's the perfect occasion for beginners to learn more about the Alpine Club of Canada - Manitoba section and for experienced climbers to share their expertise. Please note that membership in the Manitoba Section of the Alpine Club of Canada is required to participate in this event, so be sure to join online through the national ACC website if you haven't already.
