Join the beginning lapidary - cabochon cutting event in Seattle at NW Rockhounds on February 24th, 2024. This event will teach attendees the art of cutting stone and transforming a rough stone into a polished cabochon. Led by experienced instructor Carly V, participants will learn how to use the necessary tools and equipment to shape and polish a rough stone into a beautiful cabochon suitable for setting in jewelry or displaying in a case. The class will focus on cutting Brazilian Agate into a calibrated oval shape. Please note that the class is limited to 4 students, so be sure to reserve your spot in advance. Earplugs will be provided as the class involves working with loud equipment. Masks are optional, although there will be a stage in the stone cutting process where masks are required and will be provided. Attendees should check their email a few days before the event for further instructions. Please note that tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, similar to tickets for a sporting event or concert. Big tourist attraction for sure and honestly it&#39;s the people I&#39;ve met and the fun I had that made this great!  and while the elevator up is standard, getting to the top you have people that go around and take free picture. you download them from their website. Ritchie, the photographer I met was incredibly sweet  and had the down home comfort to him. going to the rotating Glass, he gave me a few pictures with the background and it was amazing! they had $15 Mai Thai (I know I know lil pricy but you&#39;re in the air and in Seattle, why not?)Tips: get your ticket(s) for a good price (cough cough Groupon) and get them online and early. cheaper before 11 am

The best place to overlook the panoramic view of Seattle. This is actually a free community park on the top of the mountain, but the view is really good, so it has become a must-check in attraction in Seattle. From here, you can see the blue and clear seawater of the harbor and the space needle tower in the city center. In the distance is the small city of Mount Fuji, Mount Rainier, the top of the mountain is snowy all year round, like wearing a white hat, very beautiful.
