❤️📍🔱 Taking the 1957 original BBC radio-play version of All That Fall, audiences will listen to the piece before taking part in a Q&A with Festival Coordinator Pascal O’Loughlin. Pascal— a writer and former National Poetry Library archivist — does not claim to be a Beckett-expert, but his insight into prose, poetry and Irish literature will surely lead to an interesting conversation. Querying the departures in the piece, and the use of sound effects, listeners can raise questions about Beckett’s intentions and the relevance of the piece today or simply ask Pascal why this was his Festival pick. All The Fall is a one act play, which follows Maddy Rooney on her journey to meet her husband from the train. Divided by three time frames – getting there, the station and the return leg – we encounter characters, mortality and deep-rooted passions. Believed to be based on Beckett’s hometown of Foxrock, Boghill presents its modernism and its traditionalism in equal measure.

What a stunningly beautiful building. How I wish there was a library like this where I was a Student! The blending of new architecture with old is incredible. The glass atrium is stunning and the reading room breathtaking. But what was so heartening to see was how well used the building was, although I did chuckle to myself in the reading room when I noted those sat at the various desks and tables, surrounded by hundreds of books were using Laptops with not a book in Sight!

This is a pilgrimage, as a Liverpool fan. This journey is in my heart, no matter what in the hearts of others, it is full score 💯. Especially when there are players passages, and when you see this is the Anfield brand, your heart is tidal. Standing on the pitch, closing my eyes, I can think of the crowd here on match day.

I am not a Beatles fan, but I am still touched by their legends after this tour. And found that some familiar songs were written by them. Appreciating the talents of lenon, I prefer the gentleness and restraint of McCartney. A good place to visit.

The exterior of this church is unremarkable. After entering it, it will really be amazing. It feels very beautiful as soon as you enter. It is super big. It is recommended to come on Sunday. There will be a choir every Sunday. You can pray with the locals and feel the atmosphere.
