The highly anticipated Balto Rolling Sessions for the winter of 2023/2024 have been confirmed and are now open for bookings. This exciting event will take place at the K Leisure pool in Athy, offering a fantastic opportunity for paddlers to enhance their skills and have a great time. The sessions are divided into two time slots, with the first session running from 5-6 pm and the second session from 6-7 pm. 

The first session is designed for juniors and seniors who are looking to learn the basics of rolling, focusing on paddlers with L1-2 skills. The second session is specifically for more advanced paddlers with L3 ability and above, providing them with the freedom to work on their own learning requirements. While these sessions are do-it-yourself, experienced members will be present to offer assistance and guidance.

Safety is of utmost importance, and all participants are required to wear helmets throughout the session. It is crucial to note that freestylers are strictly confined to the deep end to avoid posing any hazards to other paddlers. 

To ensure a smooth flow of the session, participants must arrive at the pool at least 30 minutes before their respective session starts. The car park will close promptly at 7:15 pm, so it is essential for participants to leave promptly. 

Please be aware that the Balto Rolling Sessions are exclusive to members of Balto KC. Non-members must seek approval from the committee beforehand and hold a valid CI member number. Any bookings that do not adhere to these rules will be canceled and refunded. 

Unfortunately, no credits can be carried forward for missed sessions, and refunds will only be possible up to one week before the event. All participants must comply with the club's constitution, code of conduct, and safeguarding policies, which apply to all pool sessions.
