Join bestselling authors Kate Foster and Kris Darell in a fun and interactive talk and hear about where their author journeys began. They will share insight into life as a children's author and where their inspiration comes from. Bring your questions and even have the chance to purchase a signed copy or two of their books.
Kate Foster is a best-selling and award-winning children's author living on the Gold Coast with her family and second-hand dogs. Her novels are published in Australia, the UK, and the US, and include PAWS, The Bravest Word, Harriet Hound, The Unlikely Heroes Club and Small Acts.
Kristin Darell is the acclaimed author of eight books for children, including the newly released Taronga Zoo presents series and the Football Fever series with Football Australia. She spends her time writing, visiting schools and libraries and working for the Australian Children's Laureate Foundation. She lives on Sydney’s northern beaches with her husband, two children, two dogs, pet snake and three-legged pygmy bearded dragon.
