The Garden District Book Shop will host beloved local author Frank Perez on May 29 to celebrate the release of his book Rainbow Fleur de Lis: Essays on Queer New Orleans History.  Rainbow Fleur de Lis: Essays on Queer New Orleans History is an anthology of eighty-five short, easy-to-read essays that originally appeared in Ambush Magazine and French Quarter Journal. Author Frank Perez has collected essays on a wide variety of topics in LGBTQ+ history and arranged them into multiple sections. Each section contains five essays and begins with a brief introductory overview that ties the individual pieces together. The evening will begin at 6:00 PM. Frank will read passages from his book and then open up the floor for a Q&A. Afterwards, he will personalize copies of his book. The event is free and open to the public but interested parties are encouraged to reserve their book ahead of time on Eventbrite.

I&#39;m a history buff and the national ww2 museum was a long awaited trip. It was an easy 20 mins walk from the French quarter. We ended up spending well past 5 hours here. There is just so much information to read and all very interesting. It&#39;s a well done exhibit and strongly recommended for those with an interest in history and world war 2 era.

The French-speaking area of New Orleans is also a large area, and many things here can also be visited. The French-speaking area has some interesting little designs, which are designed according to different specifications of the layout here, and I like the appearance here.
