Discover the engaging and feminist writing workshop organized by Le Labo, the Francophone media arts center in Toronto, in partnership with Le Salon du Livre de Toronto. This workshop is part of the thought-provoking project titled "6 degrees, territories of narration". Led by acclaimed writer Noémie Roy, participants will have the opportunity to create their own letters, delving into their intimate experiences, struggles, hopes, and fears 🖋️.

Limited to only 10 participants, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore the power of writing. To learn more about the project, join the talented Canadian women artists, including Noémie Roy, Julie Lassonde, Éveline Boudreau, Sophie Dumesny, Laura Demers, Saïda Ouchaou Ozarowski, Martine Côté, Habibata Ouarme, Chantal Leblanc, and ImageFatale. These artists use their pens to weave a compelling narrative through letters, allowing the public to be fully immersed in the experience and become the voices of women who refuse to be silenced. Explore themes such as freedom, sharing, feminism, and struggles, as they reflect the realities of our contemporary society.

The exhibition, taking place from March 8 to 31 at Le Labo, will be the highlight of this artistic manifestation. Immerse yourself in the collective installation, where the captivating media artwork of Shahla Bahrami seamlessly integrates with the letters. Through the artist's skillful embroidery, words of love become symbols of resistance to patriarchy, accompanied by the melodic sound of a santoor. The exhibited letters offer glimpses into lives and truths, igniting a deep longing for justice. Each word and line composes a note in the symphony of compassion, evoking a desire to participate in a more just, equitable, and sustainable future.

Leading the workshop is Noémie Roy, an author, multidisciplinary artist, and teacher. Her work, featured in Exit and Zinc magazines, explores transformation, aging, healing, and the importance of connection with oneself, others, and the world. Came on a Wednesday morning. There weren&rsquo;t a lot of people and tickets were booked prior online. One of the current exhibitions - Being and Belonging was not included in the current tickets but it was totally worth getting it. Each floor comprised of different exhibitions so do be prepared for it to take up to 2 hours. 10/10 recommend coming here to be overwhelmed with knowledge and AC.

Casa Roman Castle is located in the north of Toronto, built for British descent. The cellar in the basement has a lot of wine collection; there is a wax museum upstairs, there are wax figures of Hollywood stars, and wax figures of Jackie Chan and the Canadian Prime Minister&#39;s little potatoes. The garden has fountains and sun rooms; The rooftop terrace overlooks Toronto.

St Lawrence Market is a nice place to go in Toronto. It is near downtown Toronto. I enjoyed some delicious fresh salmon sashimi at a very affordable price. More shops are open during weekend, it is better to go there during weekend.
