Join us for Arlington's inaugural 5K obstacle course race hosted by Arlington Sports Conditioning (ASC)! Whether you simply want a fun and difficult fitness challenge, or you are training for a Hyrox or a Spartan Race, this is an event you don't want to miss. About the Course The course is a 5K distance and features 1,158 feet of total elevation gain. Competitors will begin next to the outdoor pickleball courts at Lubber Run Community Center. You will complete two loops through the Lubber Run Nature Trail behind the Community Center. Each loop features 10 different obstacles designed by ASC that will test your strength, endurance, grit, and athleticism, including the following obstacles and others:  Cargo for Gold  Stairway to Heaven  Battlerope Bliss  Lunge Lover  Amped Amphitheater Race Timeline on April 13th 8:30 to 8:45 am: Check-in at the lawn next to the pickleball courts8:45 to 9:00 am: Course Overview and Warm-up led by ASC Founder Pete Leibman9:00 am: Race beginsOther Details: All fitness levels welcome. You can walk the course if you don't want to run.Free parking is available on the street or in an undergrround/covered garage.Wear athletic clothing and running sneakers.Fuel and hydration will NOT be provided at this event. Plan accordingly.The course will not feature any mud, but part of the trail is a dirt path.We are unable to accept walk-ins. Online registration closes before the event.Please arrive early.
