Alison johnston is a Scottish artist from five generations of weavers and trxtil workers. Her interest in art goes all the way back to her childhood. Over the last five years she has been steadily building a portfolio of work towards her forthcoming solo exhibition in March 2025.  Alison will be talking about her creative process, where she draws inspiration from and what we can expect from her upcoming exhibition.

Edinburgh Castle is an absolute must-see! The history embedded in every stone of this iconic fortress is incredible. From the crown jewels to the breathtaking panoramic views of the city, there&#39;s something captivating around every corner. I particularly enjoyed the guided tour, which brought the rich history of the Scottish monarchs to life. Be prepared for a bit of walking uphill, but the experience is well worth it. #EdinburghCastle

The ticket is accompanied by a Chinese explanation, and the explanation is also very interesting, mainly used by the Scottish royal family between King David in Scotland in the 12th century and James VI in the 17th century, and the room where Mary and her husband Darnley were assassinated in Scotland.
