Children aged 6-12 are invited to delve into the captivating world of printmaking at the Art Works/RVA Thriving Artist Camp- PrintMaking in Richmond. This enriching experience offers young artists the opportunity to enhance their fine motor skills while nurturing their creativity through various printmaking techniques. Led by professional artists and experienced instructors, campers will be guided through the basics of printmaking using natural and nontoxic materials. From color rubbing to monoprinting and relief printing with handmade collagraphs, participants will explore a range of artistic processes. The camp, held at Art Works Inc on 320 Hull Street from June 17th to June 20th, runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon. With a limited class size of 10 students, each child will receive individual attention and instruction. Parents are only required to provide a snack, as all necessary supplies are included in the camp fee of $255. Dress your child in comfortable, paint-friendly attire, and watch as their artistic abilities blossom in this engaging and educational setting.
