Join Oliver Bliss at The Hive in Worcester for a captivating visual arts workshop on the theme of 'Work'. This workshop is part of the History in the Making project, an exciting year-long program showcasing Worcestershire's rich heritage and amplifying the voices of underrepresented communities. The project, generously funded by Arts Council England with additional support from Worcester City Council, offers a range of creative activities that are completely free of charge.

Drawing inspiration from the remarkable collections at Worcestershire Archives and Worcester Cathedral's Library, skilled facilitators Oliver Bliss, Gerard Winter-Hughes, and Holly Winter-Hughes will guide participants through a series of workshops designed to inspire artistic expression and meaningful discussions. In addition to exploring the fascinating history of Worcester, attendees are encouraged to reflect on their own personal stories and their unique relationship with the city.

This community-focused project takes place at three partnering venues: Worcester Cathedral, Worcester Archive & Archaeology Service at The Hive, and the vibrant Sugar Daddy's Café. Each venue holds a special place in the city's history and will play a vital role in informing the creative output generated during the project.
