Join the exciting and educational Art Dog - Kids Art Workshop in Fremantle! This workshop, held at the beautiful Paper Bird venue on January 11, 2024, is a fantastic opportunity for children in Year One to Year Seven to explore their artistic talents. Led by the talented Samantha Hughes, this two-hour workshop will provide students with the chance to challenge themselves and improve their drawing and painting skills.

During the workshop, students will have the unique opportunity to draw Spud, the friendly neighborhood shop dog from Common Ground. Spud, a lovable greyhound, has kindly agreed to be the model for the portraits that each student will create. After completing the drawings, students will then have the chance to experiment with colors and paints to bring their artwork to life.

At the end of the workshop, each student will leave with their drawings and a painting, making it a rewarding experience for all levels of artists. The workshop fee of $35.43 - $69.67 covers tuition and all necessary art supplies for one child.

Art Dog - Kids Art Workshop welcomes everyone, celebrating the beauty of physical and neurological diversity. If you have any special needs or require a carer, please let us know in advance. Please be aware that the workshop will take place upstairs in the Paper Bird Gallery, and as art can be messy, we recommend wearing old clothes or bringing an art shirt. Additionally, a break will be provided, so please bring a snack and a water bottle to keep energized.
