Youth Open Mic provides a welcoming platform for young artists in a safe and supportive environment. Sponsored by TOArts and hosted at the Jeanette Airen Performing Arts Studio in Thousand Oaks, the event aims to showcase the raw and authentic talent of middle and high school performers from the Conejo Valley and beyond. By offering a space where youth can freely express themselves through their art, the Youth Mic Night encourages courage and creativity. With a vision to include diverse young talents, the event invites new performers to register by April 6th for a chance to secure a spot to perform two songs. Veteran performers are also welcome to register, with final performance confirmations sent out after the deadline. Each performer must have at least one accompanying adult present, and registrations should be completed thoroughly to be considered for the performance list. The event will kick off with sound checks at 4:30pm, followed by audience seating at 5:30pm on April 27, 2024, with tickets priced between $0 and $5.
