This PhD work in progress, presented by the talented artist, documents the sonic shifts occurring over a 12-month period at the coastal location of Anthony's Nose (McCrea) Mornington Peninsula. Using a binaural microphone, the project captures the rhythmic waves and the sounds of human activity to guide the audience through the changing seasons, from the silence of winter to the peak hour of summer. The 20-minute loop is designed to transport you to the location itself, creating a truly captivating and lifelike experience. Additionally, you can witness a video documentation of the recording/listening process and take a moment to relax, think, and discuss on the accompanying bean bags and sofas.
