America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride 2024, known for its stunning scenery and challenging routes, is a highly anticipated event that takes place in the beautiful Lake Tahoe area. This remarkable ride offers two course options - a 100-mile century ride and a 72-mile route - both of which circle the breathtaking Lake Tahoe and venture into both California and Nevada. 

For over 30 years, America's Most Beautiful Bike Ride has been dedicated to supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's mission of helping cancer patients and their families thrive beyond blood cancer. Through the Team In Training program, this charity ride has raised an incredible $100 million. As we carry on the legacy of this event, we invite participants to pedal for a cause and contribute to the society's noble goal.

The 72-mile course is a challenging ride that takes cyclists on a journey through the highways surrounding Lake Tahoe. With ascents, including an 800-foot climb to a rest stop overlooking Emerald Bay and a 1,000-foot climb to Spooner Junction, riders will experience a total elevation gain of over 4,024 vertical feet. It is important to note that this route is recommended for experienced recreational bicyclists, as it includes various rolling ascents and descents. Participants must be at least 13 years old and have prior experience riding on roadways.

For those seeking an even greater challenge, the 100-mile century ride offers an added adventure. Cyclists will embark on an out and back trip on Highway 89/Bike Trail to visit Truckee, California, before completing the full loop around Lake Tahoe. This century option presents an additional 600 vertical feet of elevation gain, totaling 4,924 vertical feet.
