The Albrecht Durer Print Making Day is a remarkable opportunity to delve into the exhibition, gain insights from the curator, and collaborate with the artist. The Whitworth's Age Friendly Programme offers craft-based workshops during term time, specifically tailored for individuals aged 50 and above. These workshops are inspired by our exhibitions and collection. The upcoming Print Making Day has been specially organized in response to the Durer exhibition. Participants will have the chance to explore Durer's works and create their own prints. Alan Birch, a renowned print maker, will be facilitating the workshop.

The exhibition provides a fresh perspective on Durer, showcasing him as a keen observer of the worlds of manufacture, design, and trade that influenced his graphic art. The Whitworth's collection of woodcuts, etchings, and engravings will be juxtaposed with a variety of objects from Durer's era, including armor, tableware, books, scientific instruments, textiles, and exotic artifacts.

The workshop will take place in our Garden Studio. The schedule for the day is as follows: 10:00am - introductions, curator talk, and exhibition tour; 11:30am - short break; 11:45am - artist-led session in the Garden Studio; 1:00pm - lunch break; 2:00pm - continuing work in the Garden Studio, developing drawings for printing with the artist; 3:00pm - short break; 4:00pm - conclusion.

Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch or book a table in our café. The workshop fee is flexible, and we kindly request that you pay what you can afford to support our free age-friendly program. The options range from £15 to £30 to £45. As a supporter, visiting Etihad Stadium was a fantastic experience. The stadium itself is immaculate and well-maintained, providing a great environment for watching the match. The food options were plentiful, offering a variety of choices that added to the overall enjoyment. It would have been perfect if we could eat and drink while watching the game, but even so, the experience was memorable and enjoyable. Highly recommend for any football fan!

Went to Happy seasons restaurant and TSUJIRI in Manchester Chinatown with my mates after exams. Authentic Chinese cuisine with reasonable prices. The matcha sundae was also delicious. There are also many nice Asian restaurants around the area.

Visited the cathedral with my partner for an ibiza classical evening. We both thoroughly enjoyed it! The lighting and sound system were amazing.The only faults I had with the place was that the toilets had no lighting around them ,but there were plenty of them though, so I wasn&#39;t queuing for long.
