Led by Chicago Tap Theatre Rehearsal Director Molly Smith, a seasoned instructor with extensive experience, participants will delve into tap dance basics, musical terms, and tap history. Whether you are a beginner, returning to tap after a hiatus, or honing skills for a performance, this class caters to all levels. Emphasizing a holistic approach, the class combines musical, creative, analytical, and physical elements to engage both the mind and body. Chicago Tap Theatre's educational philosophy focuses on fostering individual growth and a deep appreciation for the rich art form of tap dance.
