Acting Up Drama Camp presents an exciting opportunity for incoming 5th-8th graders to immerse themselves in the magical world of theater. This year, the camp will be featuring the enchanting musical, Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon Kids. Campers will have the chance to explore their talents and learn various aspects of theater including vocals, dancing, acting, and direction for the show. Additionally, they will actively participate in the creation of props and costumes, enhancing their creative skills. Engaging in theater games and activities, campers will develop essential skills such as character development, improvisation, and acting.

The highlight of the camp will be the much-anticipated performance of Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon Kids, which will take place on Friday evening at the Lakeview United Church of Christ in Mason. It's important to note that auditions are not mandatory for camp participation, but if campers wish to be considered for a role, auditions must be completed by the May 26 deadline. Those who choose not to audition or register after this date will still have an integral role as part of the ensemble.

Acting Up Drama Camp - Magic Tree House: Pirates Past Noon Kids will run from June 17 to June 21, 2024, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily. The camp fee is $225 per camper and participants are required to bring a packed lunch and at least one water bottle daily.
