Experience the world of abstract observational drawing at the ABSTRACTED OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING (drawing) workshop, exclusively designed for 9-14 year olds. Hosted by the renowned artist and educator, Sharon Mearing, this workshop will take place on Tuesday, January 16th, at the prestigious Wollongong Art Gallery in Wollongong, NSW.

During this full-day workshop, students will have the opportunity to unleash their creativity and learn a variety of techniques when drawing from observation. The workshop will commence with a series of exercises aimed at building confidence and mastering drawing techniques. Students will explore observational drawing tasks, including sculptural pieces displayed in the gallery and still life setups.

By the end of the day, students will create abstracted versions of their earlier drawings. This workshop is not only a great opportunity for young artists to develop their artistic skills, but also a chance to immerse themselves in the captivating world of abstract art.

The workshop will run from 10am to 3pm and the ticket price is $55 plus a small booking fee. Students are required to bring their own morning tea and lunch. It is worth a visit. The city bus will pick you up at 7 am. As the largest temple in the southern hemisphere, Nantian Temple is located in the beautiful Wolonggang, about 2 hours away from Sydney, the weather is good, the photos are also beautiful, blue sky and white clouds! After the ceremony, the Buddha is finished on the first floor. Use some vegetarian dishes. The appearance is very good. It is like a squat. The taste is also very good.
