Natural disasters, war, famine, political upheavel can change our lives in an instant...the place we called home...suddenly isn't...! Li Po Chun United World College is a pre-university boarding school hosting students from 90 different nationalities. As well as studying the rigorous IB Diploma, LPCUWC is one of 18 colleges around the world, with a mission to nurture future world leaders for peace and sustainability.  Branches of Hope is a local charity, serving refugees, asylum seekers and human trafficking survivors in Hong Kong. Their mission is to restore dignity, justice, and hope to the vulnerable and marginalised in Hong Kong.  What is the ‘A Place Called Home’ Verbatim Theatre performance? A group of LPCUWC students will work together to produce a public performance in just one week! At the start of the week, the students will meet and interview a group of refugees and asylum seekers facilitated by Branches of Hope. The students will adapt the interviews into a play script and rehearse the performance. At the end of the week, the performance will tell the stories of the refugee/asylum seeker experience in Hong Kong and serve as an awareness and fund raiser for the community...! In a world increasingly intolerant of those in need, make a difference...come see the show...!

I purchased this tour via trip platform to avoid excess queue to the cashier. I got QR code on my email. Nevertheless queue to security gates were mandatory to all. I arrived 10 mins prior opening and there crowds of people. After all formalities i got into park easily and enjoyed my day. Worth it to buy via trip platform? No one comes to Hong Kong without visiting Victoria Peak, but the few times I went there before I took the cable car up and down. This time I followed a few friends to do a night hike from Central. Hike the mountains and walk on the moon in search of immortals, swim in the sea and chase the waves and play with dragons. The approximate route is Central Garden Road and Mid-Levels Escalator - Old Peak Road - Victoria Peak - down to Central. I have to say that Hong Kong is really suitable for hiking. This route is not difficult and it takes about 40 minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The happiness of climbing up by yourself and looking at the night view is something you can never experience by taking the cable car. Then I saw a wild boar 🐗 crossing the road.

You can enjoy the nice view of harbour and skyscrapers from top. Just show your QR code to access the tram and the Sky Terrace 428, and go there early if you want to have good spot for sunset photo.

It is worth visiting. The level of curation is very high. The exhibits are very exquisite. I personally like the exhibition hall 2, 5 and special exhibitions (the exhibition hall 1 is missed, and I will make up next time). The copywriting of the exhibition is really good, and it is shallow and literary. The excavation of historical details is also very deep. Can feel the intention and professionalism of the curatorial team, such as the Forbidden Day Sacrifice of the God of Sacrifice, the music sounds very shocking, the atmosphere is full, there is a feeling of immersiveness. Been to Beijing and Taipei Palace Museum, Hong Kong&#39;s experience is relatively better, there are few people, you can calm down to visit, no need to crowd people like war, the scenery is also beautiful, the viewing platform faces the sea, long-lost sense of relaxation.
