The event, titled "A conversation on After Comfort: A User’s Guide," brings together experts from various fields to discuss the shape and pace of decarbonization and how architecture's value is evolving through its entanglement with the building industry, economic systems, and energy transitions. 

Presented by e-flux Architecture, the event will feature presentations and discussions by architects, engineers, historians, technologists, and more. The editors and contributors of After Comfort: A User’s Guide, a collaborative project with the University of Technology Sydney, the Technical University of Munich, the University of Liverpool, and Transsolar, will share their insights on what tomorrow's comfort might look like and how buildings can be designed to adapt to a post-carbon world.

The event will take place at e-flux in Brooklyn on Saturday, December 2 at 4 pm. Esteemed participants include Daniel A. Barber, Professor of Architecture and Head of School at the University of Technology Sydney; Florian Idenburg, co-founder of SO–IL; Dorit Aviv, Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Weitzman School of Design; and Bobby Johnston and Ruth Mandl, founding principles of Co-Adaptive Architecture.
