The Oxford Ultra is a key part of the Thames Challenge, a 4-day event taking place in Oxford. This challenging race will be held on the 2nd day of the series, starting at 8.00 am. Participants are required to register and undergo equipment checks between 7.00 am and 7.30 am. The race commences at the Travelodge Oxford Abingdon Road, OX1 4XG, where runners will follow the Thames Path after a short distance. The route showcases stunning sights such as Sandford Weir, Culham, Cholsey, Streatley, and Whitchurch-on-Thames. The race concludes at the Catherine Wheel, J.D. Wetherspoons. Jam Night by Vitality Vocals is an opportunity to start singing in front of a small supportive group who are also receiving coaching by Carmen. Intead of going straight from 1:1 sessions to an open mic; Carmen wants to create a stepping stone to help you get out of your comfort zone without it being to scary.
