You can find out more about our parties and download the party information pack by clicking the link below link to the pack - WEB SITE You can find out more information about Farmers Fayre - Ryton pools and the party food menu by clicking on the links below Ryton Pools - Farmers Fayre ranger-menus.pdf Pond dipping - 20 people Max Apr - Oct 5yrs + Going pond dipping and discovering a secret underwater world full of incredible creatures is really exciting for children and adults alike. Ever wondered what’s lurking in the depths of a pond near you? maybe a mysterious alien-like Dragonfly Nymph, or a Great Diving Beetle, or a froglet or two? The rangers will give you an introduction to the pond habitats and food chains, the equipment we use, and how to be safe around the water, before having a go at using dipping nets & trays. We have a pond bingo game too; this will be the final challenge to test your identification skills for the creatures you’ve found, using magnifying pots and ID guides. Before anyone can shout ‘bingo’, teams will need to get four pebbles in a row across down or on the four corners. Den building - 20 People Max All year 5yrs + Building a den is great fun activity for the whole family and with friends of all ages. It’s a wonderful way to spend time together. Kids and adults love competitions, so we split your guests into teams and challenge them to a den-building contest. This activity works well in children's wood where there are lots of cut branches, and hopefully your dens will provide shelter if you get a shower of rain. Make a mini den. This activity is a lovely way for children and adults as well to have a go at den building. Each team simply collects a handful of small sticks and prop them up against a tree trunk or fallen branch to make a mini den. Make the inside of your shelter nice and cosy with some fallen leaves. Now it’s ready for your team mascot. You can do den building at any time of year, but autumn is an ideal time to try it as there are lots of fallen leaves to use. Wild Woods - 20 people Max All yr 3yr + A wild wood party is something really different and great for children of any age from 3 upwards. We turn childrens wood into a birthday wonderland and tailor the activities to suit children’s abilities, interest, and age groups. We plan activities with the seasons that can be done during the colder months too, so there is always an adventure to be had. Minibeast hunting and hotels - 20 People Max Apr - Oct 5yrs + Getting up close to wildlife is really exciting for children and adults alike, you will be exploring woodland and grassland creepy crawlies, from bugs and beetles to snails and centipedes, it’s all really good fun. We hand out bug pots, magnifying glasses and shaker sheets and encourage everyone to look for minibeasts under logs and stones, using a range of ID and spotter sheets to support our spotting too. The session also incorporates creating a recycled mini minibeast hotel / refuge for over wintering bugs. Building a minibeast hotel, wildlife motel or nature stack in your garden can provide a safe hideaway for wildlife and help make use of your garden waste. The simple homes for minibeasts that we make, will provide hidey-holes for creatures galore. All the materials will be provided and by the end of the session everyone should know a little bit more about habitats and the importance of biodiversity. Rockets - 15 People Max All yr 7yrs + Bottle Rockets. Those two simple words turn a party day into one filled with, fun, water, excitement, and laughter. You are all Engineers for the European Space Agency with specialist jobs 'and your birthday challenge with your team is to build and launch simple rockets to deliver vital food, spare parts and medical supplies to the ISS (the International Space Station). To do this you will need to design a rocket to travel the longest distance. You can add different features like fins, nose cones, on board stowaway aliens and go faster stripes! To help us complete the challenge successfully, we will need 4 adults to stay, join in and fill the launch engineer jobs. The more the merrier. Watery sticks, rafts and boats- 15 People Max All yr 7yrs + Making leaf boats and watery rafts is a simple and fun activity that encourages creativity in people of all ages. Whether it be a team boat or raft or an individual effort the session is great fun for all involved All you need is some sticks, string and some added extras from the rangers watery raft treasure box, like pirates, mermaids, mermen, RNLI and watery crew members and you will be well away once the main sail is hoisted! The ranger will guide you, whilst you experiment with different materials and techniques to see which works the best for you and we defiantly have some tips to help you be careful not to make the raft too heavy as this increases the risk of your raft sinking! When we launch the boats and rafts, for an extra bit of fun we can see how fast the rafts go at the end whilst transporting your crew safely across the water... will yours survive? An Evening of Pink Floyd at Coventry Cathedral | Coventry Cathedral

Coventry
Musical
Arts
Hello... is there anybody in there? Let Me In Presents are back, returning for a UK Cathedral Tour, this Autumn, of their brand new production - An Evening of Pink Floyd - following their sell-out, acclaimed tour of An Evening of Radiohead. It promises to be a spectacular live show featuring a full live band, vocalists and a string & brass ensemble, performing in some of the most breathtaking buildings in the UK. Witness the iconic sound of Pink Floyd's vast and ethereal catalogue of music, performed live by the acclaimed Let Me In House Band, alongside the Mike Nowland String and Brass Ensemble - featuring a total of 18 musicians, embodying the timeless songs of one of the most popular artists of all time. Expect to hear hits and hidden gems from across their discography, with a particular focus on the inimitable run of records from the 1970s, including Dark Side of The Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall. We are welcoming the return of the acclaimed band from An Evening of Radiohead, featuring additional musicians to employ the great, epic sound created by Pink Floyd. The band will be fronted by Christopher Buckle and Musical Director - Ewan Steady, and will include musicians and Floyd lovers - Alfie Woods, Bruce Higgs, Daniel Anketell, Josh Semans, Eleanor Kinsey, Lydia Karaviotis and more. The band will be accompanied by very special guests and nationally renowned string and brass players - Mike Nowland, Mathias Svensson, Caroline Bodimead, Kate Scrivens, Laurie Dempsey, Hannah Paterson, Julian Turner, Andy Clennell & Chris Beagles. NOTE -We believe that the arts have both the potential and responsibility to support the strengthening of communities and in actively fighting against injustices that provide a select few in society opportunities that should be accessible to everyone. We are constantly pushing ourselves to find new ways to collaborate with individuals and communities across the Midlands in seeing how we can develop projects that aren’t just artistically enjoyable but that enable space for reflection on how to make our communities more open, safe and without prejudice. Because of this, we do not want to put any financial barriers between our work and our audiences - if you find this is the case, please email us on chris@letmeinpresents.co.uk and we can discuss alternative ticketing arrangements to enable you to come to the event if you wish to. FAQs When do doors open? Doors will open 45 minutes before the music begins, meaning they will open at 6.45pm. This will give you ample time to come into the space, find your seat and relax before the music begins at 7.30pm. What are the stage times? There is no support act, so the music will begin at 7.30pm sharp. There will be two sets with a 20 minute interval, with the event finishing around 10.15pm. Will there be strobes/haze/flashing lights? Yes, there will be strobes and flashing lights throughout the performance, so we recommend that this production is not suitable for those with epilepsy or that struggle with strobes and flashing lighting. Haze will be used where possible, venue permitting. What age is the performance suitable for? This performance is suitable for all ages, however, there are some intense lighting and sound moments throughout the evening, and we would recommend parental discretion. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). What are the seating arrangements? When you book your tickets, you can select which section you would like of unreserved seating. This gives you first-come-first-served access to that section of seating and does not guaratee you a particular seat. We will ensure that all parties are sat together. Is there disabled access? It is incredibly important to us that our performances are accessible to everyone that wants to come - therefore, we have ensured that An Evening of Pink Floyd is accessible to all. We recognise that not all accessibility is visible, therefore we have separated ticketing into two bands - Accessible and Wheelchair Accessible. Please ensure you book the specific ticket for your needs, this way we can make sure we have ample staff and space to make sure you are all as comfortable as possible. From here, our staff will ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. Please note that companion tickets are free of charge, when purchased with an Accessible Ticket. Will there be refreshments on site? There will be an affordable selection of refreshments being sold on site, and you are encouraged to buy from the on site bar to help the Cathedral continue the community engagement work it does. Will there be parking on site? There are various car parks nearby to the venue, including city centre parking. Will there be toilets on site? Yes, there are toilets on site. What if I need more information? Feel free to email Chris at chris@letmeinpresents.co.uk with any questions you may have. We are always happy to help and our door is always open!
