THE Quiz Night for Single People in Shropshire | The Shropshire Golf Centre
May 22, 2025 (UTC+1)ENDED
Telford
After hosting speed dating evenings and a disco for single people, I am now bringing you THE quiz night for single people in Shropshire! The quiz will be made up of lots of mini-quizzes, which means you get to meet all of the potential dates in the room.
Ladies, you will be sat with the same 3-4 ladies and will stay at one table for the night! Gents, you will complete one mini-quiz and then move to form a team with the next table along (the next 3-4 ladies).
You don't need to bring along any other people, as teams will be assigned on arrival and will be random. If you arrive together with someone you know of the same gender, then you might be in the same team, but this is not guaranteed. So please come with the understanding that you will be getting to know new people and will possibly be in teams with these new people - we see this as a positive and hope you will too.
The quizzes will consist of various topics! It won't be one-dimensional and you don't have to be a rocket scientist or be able to recite a history book to attend- there will be lots of questions about lots of topics, and I am hoping there will be categories everyone will be able to shine in.
We will use the typical process from speed dating, where every member of the quiz has a dating scorecard! This is where you tick if you would like to see someone again (don't worry, that is for yours and the host's eyes only).
At the end of the night, you hand the dating scorecards into the host (that's me) and if someone you ticked to see again also ticks you, then you will be sent each other details within 24 hours!
Tickets are limited by gender with an initial 30 of each gender going on sale. I can not guarantee an equal split, but based on previous events, we do get very close and have not had any complaints! (oh and we have had lots of second dates and already relationships formed!)
