Jay Gilligan, a renowned juggler, is a native of Ohio and currently resides in Sweden. With an impressive career spanning 38 countries, Jay has been recognized for his exceptional talent and received the most gold medals in the history of the International Jugglers' Association. He has collaborated with esteemed companies like Spiegelworld, The Gandini Juggling Project, and Cirque du Soleil, to name a few.
In addition to his performances, Jay Gilligan is a former head teacher of juggling at the prestigious Dans och Cirkushögskolan in Stockholm. He has also shared his expertise as a guest instructor at major circus schools worldwide. Jay's passion for juggling extends beyond the stage; he has published a book on contemporary juggling titled "5 Catches" and co-created a podcast called "Object Episodes" focusing on juggling as an art form.
