This comprehensive workshop covers an array of topics, including stitch tension, sewing feet, machine functions (such as sewing a buttonhole, dropping the feed dog, utilizing the free-arm, and exploring multiple stitch types), presser-foot pressure, bobbin winding, and different fabric and seam types. Throughout the day, attendees will create beautiful projects, such as a tote bag with french seams, a zip pouch bag with embroidery, and a belt, among other potential samples. The workshop will commence with engaging discussions using demonstration samples as visual aids. Participants are encouraged to tailor the program according to their skill level. All necessary materials will be provided, including thread, zips, buckles, and fabric, although individuals are welcome to bring their own fabric if they have specific preferences. Other tools, such as pins, fabric scissors, and a tape measure, are recommended, but can be provided if necessary.
