The 8th Annual Scott Smith 3 Mile Memorial Run/Walk is a race dedicated to the memory of Scott Dana Smith, a beloved local running coach and participant. Scott was known for his volunteer service and was recognized as one of Harford County's Most Beautiful People. He had a passion for running and not only participated in various races but also trained other runners, including Team in Training and The Red Devils. Scott's selflessness extended to helping out at other races, such as the Ames United Methodist Church Race/Walk to Feed the Hungry. The event will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail in Forest Hill, MD. The race will start at 8:00 AM. Registration is open to adults for $25 and Harford County Public School students for $15. Online ticket sales will end on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at 11:59 PM. For those who prefer to register in person, there will be a pre-race day registration and packet pick-up on Friday, November 17, 2023, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the BEL AIR CHARM CITY RUN STORE. On the race day, registration and packet pick-up will be available from 6:30 AM to 7:45 AM at the Ma & Pa Trail in Forest Hill.
