Join Lang Toun Cycles' experienced cycle mechanics at their bike maintenance class, "Quick stop - brakes bike maintenance," in Kirkcaldy. This class is part of our autumn programme of bike maintenance classes and aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to make brake adjustments. Whether you're a beginner or experienced cyclist, anyone can register for this course. No previous experience is required, and the minimum age for participants is 12 years (under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
During the workshop, you will learn how to replace a brake cable and adjust your brakes. We recommend bringing your own bike, but if you prefer, we can provide one for you. We will supply all the required tools, protective equipment, and work stands. Please wear clothing that you don't mind getting dirty, as there will be grease and grime involved. Aprons and gloves will also be provided.
If you're interested, the opportunity to purchase tools will be available. The event is free to attend, although we appreciate any donations, which will help us continue our community work.
