The Hannibal Arts Council invites you to dive into the world of paper quilling with their exciting new art series, The Studio. Join us on April 8th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Hannibal Arts Council (105 S. Main St.) for a fun and creative evening led by local artist and arts educator Becky Evans. Whether you have experience with art or are a complete beginner, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the art of paper quilling, where participants will create their own unique art pieces using innovative techniques. The Studio. programs are designed for anyone aged 13 and up who wants to enjoy a relaxing and social evening while exploring their creative side. Seating is limited to 15 participants, and advance registration is required. Tickets are $30 per person for the general public and $25 for HAC members. The Bad Art by Good People title is truly meant to be tongue in cheek, as the end-product of the community leader working with an artist/mentor will more than likely be good, if not great! Community leaders were matched with artists/mentors by drawing names out of a hat back in November. The Hannibal Arts Council is excited to connect community leaders and artists in a new way and look forward to the very fun fundraiser. Social Hour with hors d'oeuvres/drinks and viewing art @ 6:00 p.m. followed by auction at 7:00 p.m. Our Signature Sponsor for 2025 is Great Rivers Bank. Tickets in advance are $20 per person.
