In addition to her classical training, Sasha performed with the Ballet Internacional de Las Americas, a folkloric company dedicated to showcasing traditional dances from across Latin America. After high school, Sasha received a prestigious dance scholarship to the Mercyhurst College Dance Department in Erie, Pennsylvania, where she focused on teaching and choreography. As a company member of Lake Erie Ballet, she performed in beloved productions, including Coppelia and Balanchine’s Serenade. Returning to Houston, Sasha quickly established herself as a sought-after instructor, teaching at both the Houston Ballet Academy and the Ballet Center of Houston. During this time, she also collaborated with the contemporary dance company, Michelle Brangwen Dance Ensemble, engaging in stage performances and dance film projects. As the Ballet Mistress for the Houston Repertoire Ballet, she not only led rehearsals and set ballets but also choreographed new works for the company. Driven by a desire to explore new horizons, Sasha relocated to Los Angeles to pursue a degree in Marketing at California State University, Long Beach. She successfully merged her artistic talents with the business world, working with fashion companies and in the marketing department at Sony Pictures.
